From Martial Arts Master to Spiritual Guide

Born Shivadasan in Vakkom, Kerala, Yogi Shivan is a master of Kalaripayattu, karate, and classical dance. In 1989, he moved to Oman in search of work and became a martial arts and yoga instructor. There, he worked with wealthy individuals who, despite their immense riches, lacked health and happiness. He observed the frustration and sorrow of those who could buy anything with money but still couldn’t find contentment. These experiences led him to realize that material wealth alone could not bring true fulfilment, inspiring him to search for something beyond the physical and mental realms.

A Sacred Spiritual Lineage

His search led him to Swami Shivajyothi Dharmananda of Sree Kanthimutt, who initiated him into the sacred Siddha Yoga tradition. Through this deeksha, Yogi Shivan mastered the practices of Kundalini awakening and inner transformation. This authentic, time-honored lineage is the foundation of Indimasi’s unique healing philosophy today.
