Michael Tierno

Michael Tierno never expected to spend his life guiding others through powerful psychedelic experiences or teaching men about conscious masculinity. For many years, he was a self-described pragmatist—running a business, raising a family, and focusing on tangible results. Yet a persistent sense of “something more” led him to explore personal growth. A pivotal trip to Peru introduced him to ayahuasca in Peru. Confronting old traumas, limiting beliefs, and a surprisingly vast inner life, Michael emerged changed.

That experience sparked a call: to merge time-honored ancestral wisdom with modern life’s challenges. He dove deeper into indigenous teachings, trained with experienced facilitators, and refined a practical yet profound approach to transformation. Over time, he began guiding private psychedelic sessions, working with men and women who sought to overcome trauma, self-doubt, or a gnawing lack of meaning. Eventually, Michael co-founded Men of Integrity (MOI)—retreats focused on men’s emotional clarity, relational health, and authentic leadership—and helped establish Heart Sanctuary in Peru’s Sacred Valley.

Today, Michael blends grounded pragmatism with heartfelt depth. He’s known for his warmth, genuine curiosity, and ability to integrate new insights into everyday life. Michael's calling is to help people safely navigate expanded states, uncover personal truths, and create tangible, sustainable transformation.
